Lilliput has launched what it claims to be the the world’s first 10-inch 4K on-set field monitor. Boasting a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 with a 160-degree viewing angle, the Lilliput A10 can accept up to 4K 60Hz via it’s HDMI 2.0 port.

The 8-bit monitor sports a 1500:1 contrast ratio at 437 pixels-per-inch, and provides inputs and outputs for HDMI, Displayport, and SDI connectivity. There is also a DVI-I port for connection to a computer as well. Price-wise the monitor is very affordable at an extremely competitive price tag of just $599 and you can buy it here [affiliate link].

Here’s a list of the Lilliput A10’s major features:

4K Displayport Input

The Lilliput A10 features a Diaplyport 1.2 port and HDMI 2.0, both of which support 4k 60Hz signal input

8 bit IPS Display

Featuring an 8 bit IPS display with native 3840×2160 resolution, and a 160 degree viewing angle allowing you to see from all angles

Advanced functionality as standard

The Lilliput A10 provides a variety of additional functionality for making movies and taking pictures, such as quad screen view, false colour filters, peaking, image flip, overscan, underscan and screen markers.

Precision colours with 1500:1 contrast ratio

The Lilliput A10 has a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 400cd/m brightness ratio, giving you sharper pictures and rich colours. Enjoy more detailed images than ever before.

Connectivity for all video standards

Not content with simply 4K standards, the Lilliput A10 monitor features legacy connectoin for 3G-SDI, HDMI, and DVI-I (DVI-D, VGA), making it ideal for post production and field work alike.

Along with all of that the A10 also has boasts features like quad screen view, image flip, overscan, underscan, false color filters, peaking, screen markers, etc. However, the A10 does not support LUTs, and the screen won’t work so well in harsh sunlight conditions (look for a display hood). Considering other 10-inch or larger field-monitors are limited to standard HD 1080p resolutions at best, while costing more, the A10 is well worth it for 4K shooters.

The Lilliput A10 comes with a 1-year limited warranty and can be ordered from authorized resellers around the world. Here are the full specifications:
